Managing Email Accounts FAQ - Domain Spam Filtering

  1. Log in to your administrator mail account through the web using "admin@yourdomainname.com" where "yourdomainname" is your actual domain name as your "Full email address".

  2. Under "Settings", select "DomainSpam Filtering".



  3. You will be able to view the default Domain Spam Filtering settings



  4. To override the default settings select "Override spam settings for this domain"




  5. Each type of spam check has an associated weight that factors into the spam probability of a message. When an email comes in, all of the checks listed are run, and for each check that the message fails, the weight is added to the overall score of the email. The thresholds for each spam probability are examined, and the email is placed into the appropriate category.
